All-inclusive cover with your Annual Service Agreement

Service Cover & Warranty

Thank you for choosing Scanomat UK Limited. Here’s an overview of the service cover and warranty related to your equipment purchase.

What’s included with your initial purchase:

  • 12 months of comprehensive on-site service cover
  • 12 months manufacturer’s warranty, starting from the installation date. 

This cover ensures you have support for parts and labour if your machine encounters any issues under normal use. 

Please note that ongoing cover requires exclusive use of Scanomat supplied consumables and adherence to agreed payment terms.

 

Renewing your annual service cover:

Whilst the supplied equipment is in use, you agree to renew annual service cover each year, on or before the expiry date. Keeping your service cover active allows you to continue benefiting from our full support, including:

  • Ongoing supply of comprehensive on-site service cover
  • Warranty
  • Barista support
  • Free software update
  • TopBrewer app and CoffeeCloud upgrades
  • Hardware upgrades as needed
  • Monitoring  water filters and recommendation of replacement cartridges as and when required. 

Our standard service cover includes all parts and labour for any issues due to mechanical defects, provided that your machine is used as intended and cleaned daily using Scanomat approved cleaning products and that water filters are replaced as required.

 

Standard response times:

Service support is provided 364 days a year during our regular operating hours of Monday–Friday 9:00 am–5:00 pm.

  • We aim to respond within 8 working hours for any non-operational issues from the time you register a service call.
  • For minor issues (not affecting machine operation) we aim to respond within 24 working hours of you registering a service call.

 

Need extra coverage?

If you need service support outside our regular hours (Monday–Friday 9:00 am–5:00 pm) just contact us. We’re happy to provide a tailored quote for additional coverage.

 

What’s not covered:


To ensure the best care for your machine, here are a few instances not covered under standard service:

  • Not following manufacturers operating guidelines 
  • Misuse, vandalism, or improper care or use of the equipment
  • Use of non-Scanomat cleaning products, methods, or ingredients
  • Failure to clean the machine according to our recommended guidelines 
  • Loss or damage of removable parts (e.g., drip trays, milk foamer heads)
  • Please note that iPads or other tablets are not covered

Issues arising from these situations may incur separate charges.

Not following cleaning and care guidelines may also lead to drink inconsistencies, performance issues, or even void your service cover and warranty.

 

Ventilation and setup standards

To ensure your warranty remains valid, make sure your equipment is installed in cabinets that meet the ventilation requirements outlined in your pre-installation guide. You can access our pre-installation guides here.

Training & Barista services

Our expert staff provide all necessary training in relation to daily operation and cleaning after installation and will set all drinks and recipes with your individual specifications & cup sizes.

It may be necessary to carry out minor adjustments to drink specifications according to user feedback during the early weeks.

Reasonable additional ongoing training is available at no additional costs on an ongoing basis throughout the duration of this agreement, subject to the terms of supply.

Our trained customer experience executives will make scheduled visits to ensure ongoing optimum performance and drink quality.

All training guidelines and aftercare instructions will be provided at the time of installation and must be adhered to at all times for service cover & extended warranty to remain valid.
