Koin’s decision to relocate its growing team to a new headquarters in Bournemouth was driven by the need to provide a next-level office destination that could compete with the rise of home working in a post-pandemic world. To achieve this, Koin aimed to create a workspace that would attract top talent and give employees a reason to work from the office, with a focus on wellbeing, collaboration, and premium facilities.
One of the main briefs for the project was to create a home from home environment – a space that our employees would be proud of and enjoy spending time in.

In the new world of hybrid working, Koin adopted a forward-thinking approach to create a flexible, yet functional office fit for the modern era. Koin worked with leading designer, Two, part of the Workplace Futures Group, to create a space that would attract top talent and give employees a reason to work from the office. The result is an impressive office that combines private offices and open-plan workspaces, as well as a Wellness room, bar area, and pool table. With a focus on wellbeing and collaboration, Koin HQ is a reimagined workspace that provides employees with a new and compelling experience – a home from home with space to socialise with colleagues and thrive professionally.
With premium facilities being high on the agenda, TopBrewer by Scanomat was the perfect coffee solution for the new office. The TopBrewer delivers a premium coffee experience, is easy to use, and is always a talking point when people visit the office. In addition, Koin opted for a TopJuicer juice machine, the perfect accompaniment to provide a selection of chilled juices and filtered water on tap.

To appeal to employees as a home away from home it was important to create a wow factor. This meant designing a space that would boost wellness, inspire collaboration, and offer flexible ways of working. Koin needed a destination, something which the expansive and inviting kitchen area and breakout space delivers with its welcoming coffee shop vibe.
Koin discovered TopBrewer while exploring furniture showrooms in London for design inspiration and recognised that it was the perfect solution to deliver a premium coffee experience for its employees. To complement the premium facilities offered by the new office, a TopJuicer machine is also installed in the breakout space to provide employees and visitors with a selection of chilled drinks.
The TopBrewer is always a talking point when people visit our office, and it gives prospective employees a positive first impression of our business from the outset.
